Relationship & Marriage Counseling
With a strong background in supporting adolescents, families, and couples as a school counselor, I now work with individuals aged 16 and older, as well as couples. My experience in crisis response, conflict mediation, and facilitating workshops on equity and social awareness allows me to take a well-rounded, compassionate approach to counseling. I strive to create a supportive space where individuals can navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop the skills needed for personal growth and meaningful connections.
Codependency often involves prioritizing another person’s needs and emotions over your own, leaving your well-being dependent on their opinions and reactions. This dynamic is common in families affected by addiction or alcoholism. I work with couples and families to establish healthy boundaries and cultivate authentic happiness. Through empathy and deeper understanding, we can strengthen relationships, foster genuine connection, and build the foundation for greater emotional intimacy.
Past trauma and childhood experiences can deeply impact intimate relationships, often creating patterns that become increasingly challenging over time. I help couples navigate these complexities by improving communication, strengthening active listening skills, and exploring love languages. Through this process, we can rebuild empathy, deepen intimacy, and create healthier, more fulfilling connections.
